During a very trying time, in the midst of protests and riots, there we were unifying people of all walks of life through the universal language of BBQ.

From random park pull-ups to large community gatherings and city-wide events, our family has fired up the grill and served over 100,000 FREE BBQ meals in our first 5 years.

Each plate comes with more than just food — it comes with dignity, connection, and the reminder that our community is family.

The FREE BBQ Initiative is about more than feeding people. It’s about breaking down barriers, sparking joy, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome.

Whether it’s a child’s smile over their first bite or a family enjoying a meal together without worry, every bit of BBQ served is a seed of unity planted in our city.
