Dear Mama
This will be one of our most impactful events to date. This event is called, “Dear Mama” in honor of all the single mothers struggling in our community. We are honored to help!
At this event, we will be providing as many single mothers (either expecting a child, or with children 3 years or younger) with essentials to aid and assist them with motherhood. This will include diapers, wipes, baby formula, bottles, pacifiers, baby clothes, baby wash, baby lotion, strollers, car seats, cribs and more.
This entirely FREE event will be held the day before Mother’s Day (Saturday, May 11th, 2024)
There will be FREE FOOD provided, and FREE COMMUNITY RESOURCES. Resources include, but are not limited to housing, daycare, mental health, food.

Up until the event, we are asking for everyone’s help in raising as many funds, and items to provide help to those in need.

Are you ready again for Trick or Treating our way?! For Brooklyn Park residents, we are offering the opportunity to have candy delivered to your door step! For parents that would rather not have their kids going out door to door collecting candy, or just simply don’t have the time to take their kids, we are here to help!
In the past two years, this has alleviated parents of busy schedules, while offering a safer alternative to Trick or Treating during the covid pandemic. Also, it has allowed us to engage with our community in a positive, fun way, emphasizing the importance of equity through community engagement.

The BIG BBQ is BACK! Honored 2 Help's 3rd Annual Back 2 School BBQ!
Our Annual Back 2 School BBQ is here again, and it’s better than ever! In the past 2 BBQ’s we’ve fed over 3,000 community members, and gave away over 4,800 backpacks! This time we’re adding SCHOOL CLOTHES!!!!
Join us, this August 19th for an amazing time of fellowship and fun. We will again be cooking our delicious BBQ, have bouncy houses, the best face painters in the state, along with several activities for kids, and more!

Thanksgiving Brown bag Delivery
This Thanksgiving, we are honored to help families in need with Thanksgiving essentials.
Registered Brooklyn Park families will be delivered a special brown bag to their home filled with essential items to help make their Thanksgiving dinner special.
Every family deserves to have a special Thanksgiving holiday. We pray our efforts help make this possible.

Honored 2 Help is excited to bring Trick Or Treating to you again in 2022!
Are you unable to bring your kids trick or treating this year? Would you rather them stay inside this Halloween, but want them to still experience the excitement of trick-or-treating? Let us come to you! This Halloween, we will put a reverse spin on the annual festivity.

2nd Annual Back 2 School BBQ
It’s that time again!
Our big Annual back to school BBQ, where we, the community, come together as one big family in peace and love! Last year, we were able to give over 2,000 backpacks with school supplies to families in need, and feed over 1,500 community members for FREE! This year is no exception as we aim to exceed those numbers.
Please join us for this entirely free event on Saturday, August 20th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

It’s that time of the year again!
We are excited to collect as many backpacks and school supplies as possible to supply our community members in need at our annual Back 2 School BBQ.
We currently have 3 drop-off locations around the city of Brooklyn Park where supplies can be collected.

Brooklyn Park’s Juneteenth Celebration
We are excited to partner with the City of Brooklyn Park to bring the city its first Juneteenth, Freedom Day celebration!
Brooklyn Park will host a Juneteenth celebration that will highlight the educative and celebratory meaning behind Juneteenth for our community members.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT, open to all residents.

BIG Holiday Giveaway
Tis’ the season to be jolly, and what better way to do that than by giving!
Registered families will receive gifts for the family to ensure a very merry holiday season!
On Wednesday, December 22nd 2021, there will be two time frames where gifts will be distributed. This will help ensure our families have the flexibility to stop by and receive their gifts!
11am - 1pm (afternoon)

Santa’s Special Delivery (Drawing)

We are hosting our first annual Honored 2 Help Toy Drive!
We ask that everyone pitch in a donation for our children this year. We have made it very convenient for all to donate, whether it be a physical item, purchasing online via our online registry, or donating money via our website.
All donations will be used to provide for children this holiday season during our BIG Holiday Giveaway event hosted at The Salvation Army - Noble Worship and Community Center on Wednesday, December 22nd.
